I've always been skeptical of the so called "spirit boxes" ever since first hearing about the original Frank's Box. As an old musician I have heard my share of police and airplane traffic come through guitar amplifiers. Ham and CB operators have been known to transmit their voices through TV sets and am/fm radios. How reliable can these rewired, cheap, portable radios be?

Nonetheless I decided to acquire one of the spirit boxes and perform some research with it. I chose a model which sems to have a good track record among the "ghost hunters".

Having had an instance of a poltergeist focus manipulate a cell phone screen in front of me during an investigation once, it seemed to me that some form of psychokinesis from someone present might be involved with how spirit boxes seem to work. So we'll start our research in a non-haunted location and only with Odyssey associates present to eliminate the possibility of psychokinesis stemming from others.
